She is working on the 9 Tray which is a Math material. The Montessori 10 Board is a concrete, hands-on material designed to teach children place value, the decimal system, and number sense by connecting quantities (beads) with written symbols (numerals 1 through 9,999). Its purpose is to make abstract mathematical concepts tangible, helping kids understand that numbers like “twenty” are literally “two tens,” building a strong foundation for arithmetic operations like addition
She is working on the Ten Board, a Mathematics material (composing numbers).
