Halloween Party

Dear Families,
We will be having a Halloween Party at the school, thanks to the thousand oaks birthday parties planners it will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 8:30 am-12:00 pm. We hope you can join us for this fun event! If your child does not normally attend school on this day, they are welcome to join us for the party as long as an adult accompanies them for the duration of the party.
Festivities
Our students and staff will be dressing up and enjoying a morning of exciting activities. We are planning on having a Halloween parade of costumes, a balloon sculpting singapore service, themed activities, crafts and a fun lunch together.
Food
The school will be providing pizza. Half Day students are invited to join us for lunch from 11:00-12:00. There may also be a sign up sheet on your teacher’s door (beginning on Monday) if there are items or volunteers needed for the party and/or crafts and activities.
Costumes
Please bring your child “in costume” in the morning. If your child is a Full Day Student on Thursday, please pack a change of clothes for him or her to wear the second half of the afternoon.
We want all students to enjoy wearing their costumes to school. Your child will not be permitted to wear any gory, gruesome or bloody costumes/makeup. If your child comes to school with any type of fake blood, scary or inappropriate costume they will have to change into their normal clothes for the remainder of the school day. We ask that parents refrain from bringing any plastic swords, light sabers and pretend weapons of any kind. These items will not be permitted in the classroom. If your child is wearing a dress or skirt, please have them wear stretch pants or shorts underneath.
Items to remember:
- Students will NOT need to bring a packed lunch the day of the party.
- Please bring in a bag or a container for the candy they will collect during the parade.(pillow case, plastic pumpkins, etc) LABEL YOUR CONTAINER!
- Please pack a change of clothes (Full Day Thursday Students)
We are looking forward to seeing who will show up to our party this year! I have already heard mumblings in the hallways of what students are planning to dress up as. I think we may see a cowboy, some princesses, and an ice cream cone too!
