A Peek At Our Week in the Cherry Blossom Classroom!
We are READY for International Festival! We have learned so much about Africa and our individual countries. We are proud of the research books that we made and hope that you enjoy looking through them with your child at home. Thank you, parents, for all of your help to make this program a great success. We are SO PROUD of your children!

We had a special visitor from Australia come see us. She introduced us to animals, people, plants, and money that you can find in Australia. We loved learning about where Nemo comes from and how loud the Kookaburra is!

Operation Caterpillars!
For the month of May, we will be learning about butterflies, bees, seeds, and flowers! We started with butterflies! We are raising 5 Painted Lady Butterflies in our classroom. This week we watched our very hungry caterpillars grow and grow. We talked about shedding exoskeletons, caterpillar poop, and the life cycle of a butterfly. We are so excited to continue watching this metamorphosis!

Indoor Recess!
Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day! Little children want to play! Rain, rain, go away! We’ve been making the most of the rainy weather by working on some skills in the gym. We learned how to use frisbees, practiced our soccer skills, and played ball with friends.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
A very Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms we have in our classroom. You are all amazing and we hope you have a wonderful weekend.
